This is the initial version of what will be simply the best app to track river levels, rain gauges, flood warnings and tidal levels in England, Scotland and Wales. Currently Im only working with the England data via the Environmental Agency, but I will soon add data from SEPA and Natural Resources Wales.
Im committed to always having a free version of the app that will allow people to get river, rain, tidal levels and flood warnings to better help them prepare for environmental incidents.
The current features include (England only at the moment, via the Environment Agency) :-
- Ability to save river, rain, ground station or tidal station to your Favourites
- Search for rivers directly and save
- View the current LIVE rainfall data from 909 rainfall stations in England
- Map screen that displays all river, rain, ground water and tidal stations (England only)
- Filter map display to show river, rain stations etc.
- View Flood Warnings for map area
Please note that river and rain levels for Scotland and Wales will be coming later this year.
